Frequently asked questions
Why choosing a digital cross-stitch pattern?
Cross-stitch patterns are a more practical way to make your crafts. This is why:
The cheaper option: Shipping costs are expensive. Digital patterns are a cheaper option because you don't need to pay for the expensive transportation options. This also means you will be able to access beautiful designs no matter where you are. Save money and invest it in more creative moments.
More sustainable: Why ship around the world when you can receive it digitally? Skip the packaging and pollution. Your pattern arrives instantly after purchase. You decide: print it out, or follow it directly on your device.
Start your project inmediately: No waiting, no tracking numbers. The download link appears right after checkout so you can begin stitching within minutes.
Always with you: Keeping your patterns in your device means you can access them with you wherever you go.
How do I print the pattern?
All of my patterns come in a standard A4 format, so you can easily print them at home without needing any special settings. Just open the PDF and print at actual size (100%).
If you don’t have a printer, you can also take the file to a local print shop and have it printed there.
Additionally, an SVG file is included, so you can follow the pattern digitally on a tablet or compatible app if you prefer not to print at all. Many stitchers love this option!
Can I change the size of the pattern?
Yes, by using a larger aida count. I usually make my patterns for a 14-count aida but you can choose other counts if you prefer so.
The only thing you need to bear in mind is that the final dimensions will change. If you want to calculate the dimensions of any pattern, you can use the free cross-stitch calculator in my blog.
What Aida count do you recommend?
I normally design my patterns for a 14-count aida.
However, you can choose the canvas that suits you better. If you have doubts about the final dimensions of the design or how much aida you should buy, you can check my free cross-stitch calculator.
Are your patterns compatible with needlepoint?
Yes!
Although the designs are created for 14-count aida, they are compatible with needlepoint. The patterns include a clear grid layout, easy-to-read color symbols, and a complete DMC color guide.
Since 14-count aida is very close in size to 13-mesh canvas, you can comfortably use these patterns for needlepoint projects with excellent results.
